Overview
A unique program supported by Tokyo Metropolitan Government where founders, startups, companies, investors, government bodies, embassies, and support organizations — both in Japan and overseas — connect across borders to create new business and collaboration.
This year, we're taking networking a step further: from "connection" to "co-creation." Rather than simply listening to talks and exchanging business cards, participants form teams that cross nationalities and affiliations, and work together on real business and social challenges — thinking, ideating, and presenting as part of a hands-on Cross-border Co-Creation Session.
The theme of the first installment of Go Global Hub 2026 is Discover Global Challenges. Diverse companies, investors, government agencies, and embassies — the many players shaping the startup ecosystem — share the social and market challenges, and new business and investment themes, they're seeing around the world.
Building on these themes, Japanese and international participants form mixed teams together, drawing on their own experience, expertise, and cultural perspectives to shape new solutions and business ideas. Finally, each team will present what they've built.
This isn't a competition for the "right answer." What matters is thinking through a shared challenge with people you wouldn't normally meet. The conversations and ideas that emerge become the start of new business and international collaboration.

Alex Odajima
"As a specialist in business incubation, I have supported numerous startup launches and corporate new business development projects. In recent years, my focus has been on bridging the innovation ecosystems of Japan and the global community.
I have been involved in various innovation initiatives in collaboration with embassies and international startup support organizations, and have served as a mentor for multiple startup acceleration programs in countries such as Canada, Austria, and Singapore.
My current roles include J-Startup Recommendation Committee Member, Global Ambassador for Shibuya Startup Support, former Board Member of French Tech Tokyo, and Japan Representative for German Entrepreneurship."

Go Global Hubは、東京都が支援するユニークなプログラムで、日本と海外の起業家・スタートアップ・企業・投資家・行政・大使館・支援機関など、多様なプレイヤーが国境を越えてつながり、新たな事業やコラボレーションを生み出すグローバルコミュニティです。
2026年度は、これまでの「交流」からさらに一歩踏み込み、「共創」をテーマに全4回のイベントを開催します。講演やネットワーキングだけでなく、国内外の参加者が国籍や所属を越えたチームとなり、実際の社会課題やビジネス課題について議論し、新たな解決策や事業アイデアを生み出す体験型の「Cross-border Co-Creation Session」を実施します。
Go Global Hub 2026の第一回目は、Discover Global Challenges。日本企業・海外企業・投資家・行政機関・大使館など、スタートアップを取り巻くさまざまなプレイヤーから、世界で起きている社会課題や市場課題、新規事業・投資テーマなどを共有いただきます。
参加者は、そこで提示されたのテーマを起点に、国籍や所属を問わずチームを組み、それぞれの経験や専門性、異なる文化的視点を持ち寄りながら、新しい解決策やビジネスアイデアを考えます。最後には、各チームが生み出したアイデアを発表し、お互いにフィードバックし合います。
本セッションは、正解を競うコンテストではありません。大切なのは、普段接点のない人々が、国籍や所属、専門領域を超えて、出会わない人と、同じ課題について一緒に考えてみること。そこから生まれる会話やアイデアを、新しいビジネスや国際的なコラボレーションにつなげることを目指します。

ビジネスインキュベーションのスペシャリストとして、数多くのスタートアップ立ち上げや企業の新規事業開発に携わる。日本と海外のイノベーションエコシステムを繋ぐ様々な活動を手掛け、各国の大使館やスタートアップ支援機関と連携したイノベーション関連施策を支援、多くのスタートアップ育成プログラムにメンターとして携わる。J-Startup推薦委員、東京都スタートアップフェロー、Start2 Group 日本代表、Endeavor Japan オペレーション・マネージャー、他。
