AP Group Walk: Brooklyn Heights to Green-Wood
5-mile weekend walk on the Brooklyn Heights waterfront. Including checking off going to the highest elevation point in Brooklyn ;)
We'll meet outside Poppy's at 11am and head out at 11:05am sharp through Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Park Slope, and Green-Wood. If you'd like a pre-walk coffee, please arrive early...there will be a line at primetime on a Sunday.
Note this is a walk at "New York pedestrian pace." It's not a race, but we'll move with purpose as we walk through some of Brooklyn's prettiest neighborhoods. All are welcome, but if you'd like a slower stroll, have the route on hand to self-navigate.
We'll end at Baked in Brooklyn, after getting a glimpse of Manhattan from Brooklyn's tallest hill.
NOTE Green-Wood is a cemetery arboretum. If you are creeped out by tombstones, this is not the walk for you...
