AT x Hydepakki: Sipoonkorpi Adventure
Do you yearn for a good hike in the beautiful nature but don’t want to go too far away?
If so, come join us for an unforgettable hike, for a day-trip or overnight, in Sipoonkorpi National Park to explore the wilderness of the capital region.We might even catch the sight of the mighty eagle owl, one of the largest of its kind in this wonderful national park.
This hike is organised in cooperation with Hydepakki -community 🏕️
The plan
The total hiking distance on Saturday is about 20 km, including some off-road parts. We'll stop by for a lunch break during the hike. Pack your own food and snacks for the hike!
We will be back in Cafe Kuusjärvi estimatedly around 5 pm. The Cafe has a sauna (smoke & electric), so if you want to have a sauna at the end of the hike, bring a towel and a swimming suit with you!
Note: swimming suits are required in the smoke sauna.
You can either end the hike on Saturday at Kuusijärvi or stay with us in the cold forest.
After the sauna, we will walk to a camp site with those staying the night in the forest. On Sunday, we’ll continue the hike for 8 km and end it at Sotungintie bus stop (V9424) in the afternoon.

On Saturday 13.12. departing at 9.15 am from Helsinki Railway Station. Details upon registration!
What does it cost?
Joining the hike is free!
Saunas at Kuusijärvi aren't: For students smoke sauna is 8€ and the electric sauna is 5€. For the unlucky "adults", a little bit more. You can find the price list for the saunas here: https://www.cafekuusijarvi.fi/saunojen-hinnasto.
You’ll also need to buy a HSL bus ticket (~8€ return-trip) and your own food.
