Miro x Kiro NYC hackathon: from board to build

​Join Miro and Kiro for a fast-paced, hands-on hackathon where you'll build the right thing, faster. In a few hours, teams align in Miro, build with Kiro, and turn stalled into shipped.

​Challenge overview

• ​Bring a stalled work project, under-resourced idea, or deprioritized workflow that needs improvement

• ​Use Miro to align your approach, map user journeys, and structure the solution

• ​Use Kiro’s AI-powered tools to build, iterate, and ship

• ​Walk away with a working prototype or clear, demonstrable progress

​What You’ll Do in a few hours

• ​Map and align in Miro: problem statement, goals, scope, user journey, and architecture

• ​Build and iterate in Kiro: scaffold, generate, refine, and integrate quickly

• ​Ship something real: a working prototype, process improvement, or proof of concept

​​Requirements

​On the day of the event to qualify for judging, teams submit:

• ​​​3-min demo (pitch + Kiro prototype walkthrough)

• ​​​Public Miro board (strategy, journey, metrics, pitch deck, workflows)

• ​​​Public GitHub repo (code, setup, architecture)

​​Up to 10 selected teams will have three minutes to pitch live to judges from Miro and AWS. One team will be selected as the winner and will receive standout prizes.
