About Event

For our Sunday, March 9th meeting, we have planned the ultimate seed sowing workshop, led by the seed manager from the Theodore Payne Foundation.

Don’t miss this afternoon of hands-on seed-sowing fun! In this guided experience, we will be covering some sowing basics and working with seeds of a few native California plant species for a variety of garden spaces. Your hands will get dirty, you’ll take the seeds you sow home with you, and your garden will thank you!

We will provide all seeds, seed starting soil mix, and a limited quantity of 6-cell containers. Please bring any additional seed containers you want to fill.

Our expert Genevieve Arnold serves as seed and conservation program manager at Theodore Payne Foundation

Let’s put our hearts and minds together to create a resilient future for our beloved Laurel Canyon.

See you at the oak woodland dome on March 9th!
