Build Night: From Data to AI Agents: Building Systems You Can Trust
How well is each district of a city served by public transport today, and what changes as the city grows?
Join local practitioners for an evening on building AI-assisted analytics you can actually trust. We'll take real open transport, population and planning data from a German city and turn it into a live dashboard. An AI coding agent writes the SQL and builds the views from plain-language questions, with the working shown at every step so you can check the answers.

What to expect
Two short talks from people building and running data and AI systems
A live dashboard of a city's transport network, built from public data in front of you
A spot-the-flaw moment: an answer that looks right but isn't, and how to catch it
Hands-on time to run the same build on your own laptop
Before you come
Bring a laptop (recommended). To build along, follow the setup link in your confirmation email: the free starter kit, the public tutorial on GitHub and access to an AI coding agent (Codex or Claude Code). You can also watch and build later.
Who it's for
Data and AI engineers, analytics engineers, BI developers, data scientists, architects, technical founders and students. No advanced AI experience needed.
Talks are in English. Hosted by Exasol with Nico Conforti. Practitioner talks, no sales pitches.
