San Diego Climate Week Hike and Network
Climate Week begins! Join us for the San Diego Climate Week Hike & Network at Annie’s Canyon — a chance to get outside, meet fellow changemakers, and connect with San Diego’s sustainability community.
Women in Cleantech and Sustainability (WCS) welcomes everyone, whether you’re an experienced sustainability professional, new to the field, or simply passionate about creating a more sustainable future.
A Few Important Notes:
Carpooling is encouraged! We’ve partnered with Crewz to help you find and coordinate rides with other attendees. Visit our WCS Crewz page.
Bring a reusable water bottle and stay hydrated.
Wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
Parking & Meeting Point:
San Elijo Activity Hub Park & Ride
2581 Via Poco, Cardiff, CA 92007
This will be our designated meeting and parking location. Please arrive 15–20 minutes early for check-in and allow time to park.
Our Route
We’ll start and finish together at the Activity Hub, with WCS volunteers leading the group.
From the parking area, we’ll cross Manchester Avenue and follow the trail through San Elijo Lagoon, crossing the pedestrian bridge beneath I-5 before continuing toward Annie’s Canyon. After exploring the canyon, we’ll return to the Activity Hub together.
The hike is approximately 2 miles round trip. We’ll keep a comfortable pace and make time for photos, conversation, and networking along the way.
