Engineering Cell Fate: The Next AlphaFold Moment for Biology
Cellular Intelligence is honored to convene leaders from across Al, TechBio, and regenerative medicine for a day-long symposium at the Novo Nordisk Foundation headquarters in Copenhagen.
The symposium explores the future of Al x biology and the engineering of cell fate, centered on what could become the next AlphaFold moment for biology.
Keynote Speaker
Mads Krogsgaard Thomsen, CEO, Novo Nordisk Foundation
This inaugural symposium brings together scientists, founders, investors, and thought leaders to explore how Al and large-scale biological data can transform biology into a predictive engineering discipline.
A central challenge of modern biology is the complexity of cellular signaling. Just as AlphaFold transformed our understanding of protein structure, the next major breakthrough in biology may lie in predicting a cell's future state from its current state and external cues.
Large-scale foundation models trained across diverse biological contexts will make it possible to understand, predict, and ultimately control cellular behavior, unlocking the rational design of regenerative medicine, systematic disease modeling, and context-specific drug discovery.
The program features distinguished scientists, founders, and investors, including Profs. Jay Shendure and Olivier Pourquié. A final lineup and agenda will be announced in advance of the event.
