The Great American Songbook | Live Performance
Join The Eden Arts & Immersive Media Festival for The Great American Songbook, a dynamic celebration of America's musical heritage performed by Caleb Chapman's Crescent Super Band, one of the nation's premier youth music ensembles.
Presented as part of America's 250th anniversary celebration, the program traces the evolution of American music through iconic songs, artists, and cultural movements that have shaped the nation's creative identity across generations. Spanning nearly a century of musical history, the performance journeys from the Great American Songbook and swing era through rhythm and blues, rock and roll, soul, pop, and contemporary classics.
Featuring beloved works associated with Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Elvis Presley, Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Journey, Beyoncé, and others, the evening offers audiences a vibrant musical timeline reflecting the richness, diversity, and enduring influence of American culture.
Performed by members of the award-winning Crescent Super Band, whose musicians have appeared at Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and the Apollo Theater, this special performance celebrates both America's artistic legacy and the next generation of creative leaders who will carry it forward.
