Founder Backroom - A Founder's Exit (Private Dinner)
On October 6, during How to Web, L40º and Ventures n Law are hosting a private dinner for a small group of 7- and 8-figure technology founders to discuss one of the decisions that becomes increasingly relevant as companies scale: the exit.
Joining us at the table will be Virgil Cioaca, founder of FirstPromoter, following the company’s exit in 2025.
Over dinner, we’ll have an off-the-record conversation about the realities of preparing for and navigating an M&A process: when to start thinking about an exit, what drives valuation, how buyers approach a company, how founders can create leverage during a process, what diligence and negotiation actually feel like from the seller’s side, and what happens once the deal is signed.
Virgil will bring the perspective of a founder who has recently gone through the process, alongside the experiences and questions of the founders around the table.
The dinner is designed for mid-market founders who want to better understand the M&A process, whether an exit is already on the horizon or simply something they expect to consider further down the road.
