Codex Community Hackathon - Dhaka

​The Agentic AI Hackathon 2026 is a national-level AI innovation competition organized as part of Global Build Week, bringing together students, developers, and builders to create intelligent applications using Agentic AI, OpenAI Developer Platform credits, APIs, and modern AI development tools. The event is designed to help participants move beyond traditional AI applications and explore autonomous, multi-step AI systems capable of planning, reasoning, and taking actions to solve real-world problems.

​The competition will run from July 15 to July 20, 2026. Participating teams will have one week to conceptualize, design, and build innovative Agentic AI solutions that address real-world challenges. Throughout the hackathon, teams will leverage OpenAI Developer Platform credits, APIs, and modern AI development workflows to rapidly prototype and deploy intelligent applications.

​Participants will receive mentorship, technical guidance, and learning resources from industry experts, AI practitioners, and community leaders. The hackathon encourages experimentation with AI agents, multi-agent systems, tool calling, workflow automation, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and other emerging AI capabilities.

​At the conclusion of the build period on July 20, teams will submit their projects, code repositories, and demos for evaluation. Projects will be judged based on innovation, technical execution, practical impact, user experience, and effective use of Agentic AI concepts. Top-performing teams will receive recognition, prizes, networking opportunities, and exposure within the growing AI ecosystem.
