Calgary Tech Wednesdays: First Night

Tech Wednesdays is coming to Calgary, and this is our first night.

Tech Wednesdays is a free weekly meetup for people in tech, held on the same night in every city. There are no panels and no keynotes. People just come by after work, grab a drink, and talk about what they're building. It's been running every week in Edmonton for more than three years, and now Calgary is part of the network.

It's for developers, founders, designers, researchers, students, and anyone curious about tech. You don't need a pitch or a job title. If you show up, you belong.

Your hosts are Jordan DeFazio, Ritesh Watts, Candy Nwigwe and Asmita Chaudhuri, Calgary's four founding hosts. Come say hi on the first night.

Please RSVP so we know how many people to expect, and let us know if your plans change. After the first night, Calgary Tech Wednesdays runs every Wednesday at GRETA.

Built Here. Backed Here.

This event is part of Calgary Innovation Week, the city-wide moment that brings Calgary's innovation ecosystem into full view. Across the week, founders, industry, investors, talent and community organizations come together to share what they're building, make connections, and show the strength of what's being built here — and backed — here.
