About Event

*Tickets are $30 and help cover the class, space, and overall experience. Most of our events are free. This one is priced intentionally to support what it takes to bring something like this to life.

We’re back with another Amigas in Motion wellness class and this time, we’re celebrating Women’s History Month with a Yoga Sculpt on Sunday, March 22nd. This session is designed to get you moving, build strength, and reconnect with your body in a way that feels energizing and supportive alongside other amigas. ✨

Led by our co-founders, Aimara and Jaidie, this is a full body class designed to target major muscle groups and get your blood flowing, with a mix of strength and mobility work and modifications available throughout so you can move in a way that feels right for your body.

We’ll take a few minutes at the beginning to settle in with a mobility warm up, move through the class together, and close things out with a cool down followed by some time to hang with a few amigas before we all head out.

Whether you’ve been meaning to try something new, get back into a routine, or just take a little time for yourself, this space is here for that.

Come as you are. Move how you need to. We hope you’ll join us. 💖

*Note: All participants will be required to complete a short waiver before the class. You’ll receive the waiver after purchasing your ticket. This helps ensure everyone’s safety and allows us to accommodate any injuries or modifications. The waiver must be completed before arriving for the class.

What to Expect:

  • Guided Yoga Sculpt Flow: A 45-minute, full body yoga sculpt class designed to target different muscle groups, get your blood flowing, and leave you feeling energized. Modifications will be shared throughout so you can move in a way that works for your body.

  • Arrive & Connect: We’ll take a few minutes at the beginning to settle in, start with a short mobility warm up, then move through the class together followed by a cool down and some time to hang with other amigas before heading out.

  • Goodies & Giveaways: Your ticket includes a curated gift bag with wellness and self-care goodies, plus entry into a raffle featuring services, experiences, and items from local partners.

  • Come As You Are: This space is open to all experience levels. Bring your mat, water, and anything else you need to feel comfortable.

Meet Your Instructors:

  • Aimara Rodriguez is a first generation Honduran-American based in Denver who believes movement and outdoor access should be available to everyone. Born in Brooklyn, raised in Birmingham, and having spent a decade in the Bronx before making Colorado her home, she has built a career across startups, technology, and nonprofit strategy. After experiencing burnout early in her career, she began integrating fitness and outdoor recreation into her own life. Over the past several years, she has trained consistently in strength, endurance, and alpine preparation, which ultimately shaped her passion for making movement and outdoor spaces more accessible and inclusive for others. Today, she collaborates with organizations such as Denver Parks & Recreation, Special Olympics Colorado, and the Colorado Wildlife Federation to create pathways for historically excluded communities to engage in movement and outdoor experiences. She is a Wilderness First Responder, has completed over 20+ of Colorado’s 14ers, and serves as an Outings Leader for Latino Outdoors Colorado, where she helps people in building confidence in the outdoors through beginner 14er hikes, fitness preparation, and intuitive movement.

  • Jaidie Vargas is a first generation Mexican-American whose relationship with movement has shaped how she leads, heals, and shows up in every season of life. After serving seven years in the U.S. Navy as a Command Fitness Leader, she designed training programs and led group fitness sessions to support service members in meeting rigorous physical standards. Following her transition out of the military, Jaidie experienced the loss of structure and identity that many veterans quietly navigate, and began rebuilding her relationship with movement and mental health. Over time, she returned to strength training and eventually placed nationally as an NPC Bikini competitor. Prior to becoming pregnant, she intentionally focused on building a strong foundation and continued lifting throughout a healthy pregnancy. Today, her focus has shifted from performance to longevity. She supports friends, family, and community members in building sustainable strength and nutrition routines that can be carried through different seasons of life.
