​THE QRT C3 HACKATHON: CODE, COMPUTE, COMPETE.

​CompSoc is teaming up with QRT (Qube Research & Technologies) for a two-hour coding competition, in partnership with OpenAI. You'll tackle a series of logic and coding challenges designed by QRT with the help of an LLM.

• ​Monday 16 November, 18:00 – 21:00, Informatics Forum, G.07

• ​Teams of up to four. Individuals are welcome too.

• ​Every registered participant gets $25 of OpenAI credits to use on the night.

• ​Pizza provided.

• ​Bring your own laptop and charger. Full instructions and technical requirements will be shared before the event.

🥇 1st: Apple AirPods
🥈 2nd: QRT-branded poker sets
🥉 3rd: £100 keyboard voucher

​The top three teams will be invited to QRT's Grand Final and Spring Insight Day in London, competing against the best from Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial and Warwick!

​Winners can also be fast-tracked to interview.

​⚠️ Places are limited and registration requires approval. This event is open to people of all year-groups and experience. ⚠️

Successful registrants will be emailed a form to claim their OpenAI credits, which must be completed by 09:00 on Friday 13 November.

Note: This event is only open to students of The University of Edinburgh and The University of St Andrews.
