Blockchain 4 Youth Bristol: The Future of Real-World Asset Tokenisation
Join us at the University of Bristol for an engaging Blockchain 4Youth workshop exploring how blockchain is connecting traditional finance with the digital economy through Real-World Assets (RWAs).
RWAs bring familiar financial products and assets—such as stocks, stock indices, commodities, forex and pre-IPO opportunities—into blockchain-enabled trading and investment ecosystems. Through tokenisation and digital settlement, these innovations aim to make markets more accessible, efficient and available around the clock.
In this session, we will explore key RWA innovations, including:
Stock Tokens: Digitally represented, 1:1-backed stock exposure, with support for corporate actions and streamlined trading.
Stock Futures: 24/7 access to stock-index futures, including long/short trading concepts and USDT-based settlement.
IPO Prime: New approaches to accessing emerging companies before an IPO, designed to lower traditional access barriers.
CFD Trading: Exposure to markets including forex, gold, commodities and stocks through contract-for-difference products.
We’ll discuss how these products work, the opportunities they create, and the important considerations around risk, leverage, regulation and responsible participation.
