​VCPA runs a vibrant Learning Garden in the northwest corner of Van Cortlandt Park where they host school trips, welcome volunteers, and support high school interns throughout the year.

​This spring, they’re looking for volunteers to help complete two protective fences around their vegetable beds—an important part of their plan to keep animals from eating the crops. With programming for children as young as pre-K on the schedule, finishing these fences is essential to keeping the garden thriving and ready for young learners!
