The Citizen AI Project
💡 Our theme for this workshop is: guardrails. More info is coming soon. Stay tuned and register!
➡️ Join us for another workshop in the Citizen AI Project, a community-based initiative exploring how AI can be designed through meaningful public participation. Whether you attended previous sessions or are attending for the first time, come and explore how bottom-up, civic approaches might inform the long-term development of community-centered AI technology.
ℹ️ This is not a technical workshop, and no prior experience with AI is required. We are looking for people with experience building communities, facilitating participation, organizing groups, or simply navigating collaborative processes in everyday life. Your experiences—not your technical expertise—are what make this conversation valuable.
We hope you'll join us as we explore what AI should become and how communities themselves can help shape its future.
👉 A light dinner will be served.
👉 Community members are entitled to receive compensation ($50) for their participation to help offset transportation costs and effort.
