Bootcamp | Claude Code for Developers
A day for experienced engineers ready to take Claude Code to the next level.
You already ship with Claude Code. The next level is not another feature. It is a different way of working, and it is easiest to find in a room of engineers pushing the same edge. This is a full day of building, not slides. You get three expert-led loops, a final build challenge, two expert engineers who work this way every day, and a room of peers at your level.
The experts
Peder Holdgaard Pedersen is Head of AI Engineering at Saxo Bank, an MCP maintainer and a Microsoft .NET MVP. He opens the day with a loop on getting custom UI into two very text-heavy places, the terminal and the chat.
You build one MCP server that connects to both. In Claude Code it runs as a mod. Mods are small TypeScript functions that run inside Claude Code and change how it behaves and looks. In claude.ai and Claude Desktop the same server runs as an MCP App, a tool that answers with an interactive interface instead of plain text. Building one server for both shows where mods and MCP Apps overlap and where they differ. Peder codes live on screen, then works the room while you build.
Anders Grandjean-Thomsen, Agentic Engineering Consultant at Consid, leads the two middle loops. The first is Claude + Jev decision models. Small, fast models handle the routing decisions inside Claude Code, so each task goes to the model that fits it. The second is building a software factory. You map how your organisation works, spec the work, and let agents build it in parallel, with people in the loop where it matters.
How the day works
Each of the first three loops starts with a short intro and live demo from the expert. Then you spend an hour or more building, on a concrete task we give you or in your own repo. Each loop ends with a share-out where the room compares what worked.
The fourth loop is a challenge. It pulls together what you built in the first three loops, and you get the full session to build it. At 16.00 everyone demos what they made.

You build on your own Claude account all day. Applied Futures does not provide accounts or credits. A full day of parallel agent work uses a lot of capacity, so a plan with higher usage limits gives you more room. If you need help setting up an account, we can help on the day.

Who’s behind it
Hosted by Jacob Langvad Nilsson and Camilla Roesgaard Hansen, co-founders of Applied Futures.
Jacob is Anthropic’s Claude Community Ambassador in Denmark and runs the Copenhagen Claude Coders community. Camilla designs the Applied Futures programmes and leads facilitation of AI training. Both work as forward-deployed product managers for specialist teams organising around AI, and both build with Claude Code every day.
