About Event

A full day at the frontier. Build with what's next, not what's already standard.

Claude Code basics are table stakes now. This bootcamp starts where the Agentic Futures Radar says the real frontier is. Context engineering instead of prompt engineering. Harness engineering as the discipline behind agents that actually hold up in production. Multi-agent orchestration, spec-driven development, and the identity and security questions your agents raise the moment they touch a real system.

You already know Claude Code. That's the requirement to be in the room, not the topic of the day. We build on that baseline and go straight into the patterns the top teams are adopting this quarter, not the ones from six months ago. This is a day of building over slides. Every session tackles one frontier topic with an intro followed by build-along time on your own repo.

What you'll learn

  • Practice context engineering, selecting, compressing and isolating what actually reaches the model

  • Write the spec first and let agents implement against it, the spec-driven development pattern

  • Build and ship an MCP server that connects your own tools and data

  • Orchestrate multiple agents with task graphs, mailboxes and isolated workspaces

  • Apply harness engineering, building the environment around the model instead of just prompting it

  • Give your agents scoped identities, credentials and audit trails

  • Run your agents against live task evals instead of static benchmarks

  • Get a working read on where memory, continual learning and agentic mesh are heading, and what to prepare for now versus what to just watch

Who it's for

Engineers and technical builders who've already shipped with Claude Code and want the frontier patterns, not a refresher. Tech leads and platform teams deciding what to standardise next quarter. Anyone who reads the Agentic Futures Radar and wants it turned into a day of hands-on work instead of a briefing deck.

This day assumes you're already fluent in Claude Code day to day. If you're still building that habit, start with Claude Code for Beginners first.

What to bring

A laptop with Claude Code installed and signed in. A real repo you work in, with Git set up. Comfort in a terminal and IDE. Breakfast, lunch, cake, all-day coffee, water and fruit, and a drink to wrap the day are on us.

Who's behind it

Hosted by Jacob Langvad Nilsson and Camilla Roesgaard Hansen, co-founders of Applied Futures.

Jacob is a Claude Community Ambassador for Anthropic and runs the Copenhagen Claude Coders community. He maintains the Agentic Futures Radar, reviewed monthly, which sets the topics for this bootcamp. Camilla designs the Applied Futures programmes and leads facilitation of AI training. Both work as forward-deployed product managers for specialist teams organizing around AI, and both build with Claude Code every day.
