​上野 チェルシー 有彩

​アメリカ生まれ、福岡出身。Shopify日本第一号社員などを始めとし、米ユニコーン企業Noom、StockXの創業メンバーとして海外事業の立ち上げに従事。2023年よりシリコンバレーを拠点にPlug and PlayやDraperU Venturesなど米VCにて投資とアクセラレータープログラムを牽引。現在はアメリカで独立し、投資家と起業家をつなぐ「繋ぎ人」として活動。国内外の学校、企業、行政向けと連携しながら、企業や個人の海外進出支援を続けている。

​渡部峻輔

​AZX総合法律事務所　パートナー弁護士。国内外のスタートアップ、テクノロジー企業、VCを中心に、資金調達、M&A、海外進出・日本進出などのクロスボーダー案件を幅広く支援。外資系法律事務所Clifford Chanceでの勤務経験を経て現職。現在は上場を目指すスタートアップ3社の社外役員も兼務する。スタートアップが国境を越えて挑戦する際に、各国で信頼できる専門家へスムーズにつながれる環境を目指し、海外法律事務所とのネットワーク構築にも取り組んでいる。

​白戸 勇輝

​Techstars Japanの初代Managing Director。Pangaea Venturesのシニアアドバイザー、Silicon FoundryのVenture Partnerも務める。VC-backedスタートアップを3社創業し、うち1社をExit。ニューヨーク州弁護士として12年間活動し、米国・カナダ・UAE・英国・日本の5カ国で25年以上のグローバル経験を持つ。数百名の起業家や企業へのアドバイスに加え、20社以上のスタートアップの成長を支援。Yakumiを創業し、世界4地域75社以上に投資している。

​We are excited to welcome Arisa Ueno, who is based in the U.S. and continues to contribute to the global startup ecosystem, and Shunsuke Watanabe, who continues to support cross-border business as a legal expert.

​We are also excited to welcome Yuki Shirato, who brings experience as a New York attorney and startup founder with an EXIT, and currently serves as Managing Partner at Techstars. 🚀

​Our goal is to connect globally minded people and create new opportunities, initiatives, and challenges that take us from Japan to the world. 🤝🌏

​🎤 Speakers

​Arisa Ueno

​Born in the U.S. and raised in Fukuoka. She was Shopify Japan’s first employee and was also a founding member of the Japanese operations of U.S. unicorn companies Noom and StockX, where she worked on launching their businesses overseas. Since 2023, she has been based in Silicon Valley, leading investments and accelerator programs at U.S. VC organizations including Plug and Play and DraperU Ventures. She is currently independent in the U.S., working as a “connector” between investors and entrepreneurs. She continues to support companies and individuals expanding overseas through collaborations with schools, corporations, and government organizations in Japan and abroad.

​Shunsuke Watanabe

​Partner Attorney at AZX Law Firm. He provides a wide range of support for cross-border matters, including fundraising, M&A, overseas expansion, and entry into Japan, primarily for startups, technology companies, and VCs in Japan and overseas. He joined AZX after working at international law firm Clifford Chance. He currently also serves as an outside director for three startups pursuing IPOs. With the goal of creating an environment where startups can smoothly connect with trusted experts in each country when taking on challenges across borders, he is also working to build networks with overseas law firms.

​Yuki Shirato

​The first Managing Director of Techstars Japan. He also serves as Senior Advisor at Pangaea Ventures and Venture Partner at Silicon Foundry. He has founded three VC-backed startups, one of which he successfully exited. He practiced as a New York attorney for 12 years and has more than 25 years of global experience across the U.S., Canada, UAE, UK, and Japan. In addition to advising hundreds of entrepreneurs and companies, he has supported the growth of more than 20 startups. He founded Yakumi and has invested in more than 75 companies across four regions worldwide.
