🌊 Mapping Our Seafood Futures

An Experiential Session by Nature Circles for Pasarfish

Join us for an interactive evening that brings together mindfulness, movement, and conversation to explore how we can shape a more sustainable future for Singapore’s seafood heritage.

Using the 4D Mapping process from the Presencing Institute, we’ll work together to make our current seafood system dynamics visible — and sense into what’s emerging next. Through simple movement, observation, and reflection, we’ll uncover new insights about how our community, environment, and economy connect through the seafood we love.

🪸 What is 4D Mapping?

4D Mapping is an embodied way to explore systems — like Singapore’s seafood ecosystem — using our bodies instead of just our words.

Each participant takes on a role (for example: fish farmers, consumers, fishmongers, or the ocean itself) and uses simple movement to express how that part of the system feels and relates to others. Together, we form a “living sculpture” of the current reality — then gently move toward what a more sustainable, connected future could look like.

It’s not acting or performing — it’s a shared exploration of what’s happening beneath the surface, and how change can begin. No prior experience needed!

🐟 About Pasarfish

🌱 About Nature Circles Initiative
