What you'll learn:

Join Kabir Kochhar (Stern '06), Founder and Managing Partner of Audacity, for an inside look at how to navigate the journey from university to entrepreneurship to venture capital.

In this session, you will learn:

  • How Kabir leveraged his education at NYU Stern School of Business to break into New York’s digital media ecosystem

  • What it takes to build and scale a company—from co-founding The Glitch to its acquisition by WPP

  • How operators transition into investors, drawing from his experience at Anthill Ventures

  • What venture capitalists look for in founders at the intersection of AI, media, and technology

  • Practical ways students can leverage their education, networks, and early career choices to build across both the entrepreneurial and venture paths

This conversation is designed to give students a tangible roadmap—connecting education, execution, and investment into a cohesive career strategy.

    More about the speaker:

Kabir Kochhar is the Founder and Managing Partner of Audacity, a multi-stage fund investing where AI meets media. A three-time founder turned investor, he has spent over two decades building and backing ventures that shape how people create and consume content. Before Audacity, he was a General Partner at Anthill Ventures and co-founded The Glitch, a pioneering digital advertising agency that scaled to 450 people before its acquisition by WPP. An early participant in India’s venture ecosystem, his investments span media, consumer and technology. Kabir began his career in New York’s digital media scene in the mid 2000s and is a graduate of NYU Stern School of Business, where he studied Marketing, Finance, and Journalism.
