Paper, wax, candles, and an hour of nobody looking at a phone.
Everybody has one. The thank you you never sent, the apology, the thing you wanted to say to somebody who has no idea. You write it by hand, you seal it, and you decide afterwards whether it goes anywhere.
Eighteen people. I still do the introductions, and the go round still runs once, at 7:00. Then it goes quiet for a while, which is the point.
Once a year, in winter. Rooftop in the Financial District, address on booking.
$45, food and materials are on me. Drinks are on your own tab, two minimum.
By invitation. Come alone. Most people do.
