About Event

Introducing illoca Shapers — a creator & community program for architects, engineers, students, and educators in AEC.

If you create design content, host events, teach, or share new tools with your community, this is for you. We are inviting creators to build with Plamo (our agentic workspace for 3D modeling) and join a program designed to help you grow your visibility, access new tools early, and share your work with a wider audience.

As an illoca Shaper, you can get:

  • access to Plamo with +3,000 credits per month

  • early access to new features

  • opportunities to be featured across illoca's channels

  • micro-grant support for in-person workshops or events

  • exclusive access to our Discord channel to connect with the illoca team

  • priority consideration to future collaboration opportunities

We'll also introduce illoca for Education. We believe the next generation of architects and designers should be able to learn with the latest tools, not be priced out of them. Eligible students and educators receive additional credits to support classroom exploration, studio work and teaching.

Plamo Workflow Challenge

Stay until the end of the session to hear about our first Shapers competition: an opportunity to build, share your process, and win prizes.

Your challenge: create a model in Plamo, make a meaningful change, and show how your workflow has improved.

It can be an equipment-layout revision, a new spatial constraint, a design alternative or another task you know well. Share the original task, the Plamo process, and the result. At this session, we’ll explain:

  • What makes a strong challenge entry

  • How to turn your project into a clear video or carousel

To enter: publish your original video or carousel on LinkedIn, Instagram or YouTube, tag illoca (our accounts are linked below), include #PlamoWorkflowChallenge, and submit the post link through our entry form.

Entry deadline: October 18, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time

Entries will be judged on practical usefulness, clarity, originality and presentation. Audience size and like counts will not determine the winners.

About illoca

Illoca is building Plamo, a purpose-built agentic 3D workspace for technical creators designing the next generation of physical systems and environments. Plamo turns sketches, images, and prompts into editable parametric geometry that you can direct, refine, and export into the CAD workflow you already use. Founded by Chin-Yi Cheng (formerly Google DeepMind, Autodesk AI Lab) and Chiaowei Yu (formerly Tesla BIM Lead), illoca is reimagining how complex ideas become editable design.
