Macc October Meetup: BBC Internal Venturing & Tech Sales

​We're back at the Bollington Brewery Tap on Thursday, October 1st for the next Macc XYZ meetup.

​We have two excellent talks lined up for this month, covering internal corporate innovation and practical tech sales strategies.

​Jon Grant: Internal Venturing at the BBC Jon shares the inside story of how he navigated the BBC's corporate structure to save the BBC Food website when it was facing closure. He will walk us through the process of "internal venturing" and how he successfully raised internal investment to preserve a massive digital asset.

​Russell Hope: Selling Stories Local legend Russell Hope (Elov) is joining us to talk about sales. His session, ‘Selling Stories’, covers stories about sales and how to sell using stories. He will walk us through three specific tech sales strategies you probably haven't tried yet (or if you have, you probably haven't realised it yet).
