Mastra Agent Builder: Build Agents, No Code Required
Every team has more automation ideas than engineers to build them. PMs want a support agent, ops wants a reporting bot, but the backlog never shrinks. In this workshop, you'll learn how Mastra's Agent Builder lets non-developers assemble, test, and publish agents themselves — using the tools and workflows your engineering team has already built.
Agent Builder is a composable UI that sits on top of your Mastra instance. Developers register tools, models, and workflows in code; everyone else uses the Builder to combine those primitives into agents through a chat-based editor or point-and-click interface. You'll see how to configure what's available — allowlisting specific tools, pinning default models, and toggling UI features — so you stay in control of what gets built.
We'll also cover the governance side: RBAC roles and permissions, draft and published states, and how agents persist to your own storage so nothing leaves your infrastructure. Plus, you'll see how to connect a Builder-created agent to Slack so your team can start using it immediately without any extra deployment.
Whether you're an engineer looking to safely open up agent creation across your org, or a non-technical teammate curious about what's possible, this session will get you oriented and building.
