About Event

Critical Mass: Harwell ^ Oxford brings together founders, investors and enterprise leaders to showcase the unique capabilities of Harwell – the UK's supercampus.  This event features eight compelling examples of how deep science infrastructure drives commercial innovation in quantum computing, advanced materials, and life sciences and introduces the excellence in space technologies and energy. The evening celebrates the impact of world-class national facilities and the companies building critical technology.

A curated selection spans four unique national facilities – Diamond Light Source, the National Quantum Computing Centre, the Rosalind Franklin Institute and RAL Space – paired with four companies exemplifying the commercial applications of this infrastructure. The evening is designed for founders navigating deep-tech development, investors assessing the strategic advantage of proximity to leading research capability and anyone who wants to learn more about the amazing science supercampus that is Harwell.
