The first 2026 Machine Learning & AI Seminar Series
MIT Alumni, High Octane Friends, Highline Beta, and Innovance IP Solutions bring you a morning of lightning talks, networking, and community giving — built around the people doing genuinely interesting work in the AI space.
Format — all lightning talks, alternating between individuals and companies:
Individuals: up to 7 min + 3 min Q&A — share something you've personally built, researched, or experimented with in AI
Companies: 3 min + 2 min Q&A — pitch your AI product, service, or commercial operation to the room
The goal: surface the most interesting work happening in AI right now — both grassroots experimentation and commercial innovation — and connect the people doing it with the people who can support it.
Schedule: Lightning talks → Networking → Princess Margaret Doves of Hope (community mural + cancer research fundraiser)
Waitlist policy: If the event reaches capacity, waitlisted registrants (and speakers) get first priority for the next seminar.

Following refreshments and networking, we will walk down to the Doves of Hope exhibit to buy a dove in support of cancer research at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, at about noon.
