Talks
SAP Business AI Vision and Real-World Use Case
by Tácsik Ádám (Solution Architect, SAP BTP)
The session begins with an overview of SAP’s Business AI strategy, including Joule, Joule Agents, embedded AI capabilities, and custom AI opportunities on SAP BTP. The focus then shifts to a practical AI reference use case from the Professional Services industry, implemented by SAP Hungary. You’ll discover how an AI agent–driven, HANA Cloud–based solution leverages vector-driven similarity search to automate product master data creation, predict attributes, and detect duplicates – reducing manual work while improving data quality.
From Idea to an AI-Enabled SAP App
by Gábor Timár (SAP Basis – Transport Management Consultant, Accenture)
This presentation introduces the artificial intelligence capabilities available in the SAP BTP environment, with a special focus on using Joule in SAP Business Application Studio. Through a live demo, participants will follow the creation of a complete CAP application – from SAP BTP setup and development to deployment on SAP HANA Cloud. The session concludes with a short overview of SAP AI Launchpad and how to connect to external large language models such as Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude.
Preparation for Participants (bring your Laptop!)
Based on the SAP public user setup file, participants are recommended to complete the instructions in advance. If you are unable to do so, you can still fully follow the live demo – every step will be shown in detail on screen, so hands-on participation is optional. (will be sent out via email the night before the meetup)
