ScreenPepTM – An Industrialized High Throughput Proteomics Platform

Recent technological breakthroughs have transformed proteomics into a highly reproducible, accurate, and high-throughput engine for early drug discovery. Here, we highlight how Evotec has, over the past decade, developed a leading, fully industrialized screening proteomics platform - ScreenPep - designed for large-scale compound profiling with exceptional depth and speed.

We will showcase applications in the field of molecular glue degraders and extend its use to high-throughput cysteine proteomics profiling for assessing covalent ligand engagement across the proteome in native biological systems. This approach supports large-scale screening of electrophilic fragment libraries with extensive cysteinome coverage.

Moreover, Evotec has established deep-coverage body fluid proteomics workflows for large-scale clinical cohort studies. Additionally, we are combining our high-sensitivity proteomics platform with laser microdissection microscopy to enable a broad range of spatial proteomics applications.

Multi omics Profiling of Autoimmune Conditions Reveals Novel Potential Biomarker Candidates

We will introduce our newly established platforms dedicated to Untargeted Metabolomics and Lipidomics analyses, designed to accelerate research in complex biological systems.

We will begin with an overview of the principles behind Untargeted approaches, highlighting their importance in capturing a comprehensive molecular snapshot without prior assumptions. You will gain insights into the advanced instrumentation powering these analyses, including key technical features, workflows, and data acquisition strategies that ensure high sensitivity and reproducibility. To illustrate the practical impact of these technologies, we will present a case study in the field of autoimmune diseases. This example will demonstrate how integrated multi‑omics analysis (metabolomic, lipidomic and proteomic profiling) can uncover novel biomarkers, paving the way for improved diagnostics and therapeutic strategies.
