Live Watch Party and plural discussion: Should The US Be Ruled By a CEO Dictator?
What's your biggest concern about the future of democracy? Can democracy be defended against a shift towards authoritarian, oligarchic or technocratic forms of government?
In this free public event, we will host a live Watch Party for Open To Debate: Should The US Be Ruled By a CEO Dictator? and participate in a live online discussion exploring points of consensus and polarisation with fellow scholars and participants via the RadicalxChange global network.
This event is part of a decentralized Plural Events Watch Party series worldwide, where local RadicalxChange chapters host screenings and discussions simultaneously.
We will weave together inputs and findings from these global discussions with in-house deliberative platforms including Agora Citizen Network and Context Engine building on Pol.is technology, creating a collaborative experience which will enable us to explore points of consensus and areas of divergence.
This event is great for philosophy, public policy, political economy, political science students or anyone interested in the future of democracy: please join if you can and spread the word!
