ASCEND is a small, invite-only gathering for Tanzanian fintech founders and operators navigating what it truly takes to scale beyond a single market.
This is not a pitch event, a panel-heavy conference, or an open networking meetup.
It’s a relaxed, closed-door evening for founders who are already operating and encountering the kinds of challenges that rarely get discussed publicly.
Hosted by Slice Finance Africa in collaboration with TAFINA, ASCEND brings together a carefully curated group of builders for open conversation, shared perspective, and practical exchange.
There will be food, drinks, and time to talk, not presentations. The intention is to create space for honest discussions around expansion, regulation, taxes, licensing, and the real decisions founders are making behind the scenes.
