Join us for a conversation on The Politics and Government of America's Two Greatest Cities, featuring Michael Adams from the Civ Lab, and Daniel Golliher from Maximum New York.
Michael and Daniel will discuss the political climate and governing mechanics of SF and NYC. They'll explore the implications of the November election and what to look out for in 2025. Audience participation is welcome, so bring your questions!
Michael Adams founded the Civ Lab to study government and make it work better. He teaches How SF Government Works and is a regular guest speaker of the Commons. He wants you involved in city government and is building tools to make it easier - most notably the SF Gov Graph, the first complete map of San Francisco's government.
Daniel Golliher is the founder of Maximum New York, where he teaches accelerated introductions to New York City government and law--with over 1/3 of alumni going on to seek and achieve local office. He teaches widely around New York, for MNY and as a guest of other institutions, and is actively building a network of civics schools around the United States.
