Climate work asks you to say uncomfortable things to people with more power, repeatedly and over years, which is quite stressful for your nervous system. When the body is braced, the available options narrow, and you either avoid the conversation or push through it with more force than you meant to. Somatic methods like breathwork act on that directly, using breath and body to bring the nervous system into regulation, which is where clarity and steadiness arise from.

This session shows you body and breath-based practices to build the kind of inner strength that holds when a conversation gets uncomfortable.

FYI: There is a previous session on Monday on putting the day down. You are welcome to visit both or either. German-speaking sessions available on Tuesday and Thursday.

Practicalities

Setting: You will need a quiet room where you can settle undisturbed, and headphones. You are welcome to gather colleagues and join together, with individual headphones.

Health note: Breathwork is not suitable during pregnancy, with epilepsy, cardiovascular conditions, high blood pressure, or major surgery in the last 3 months. If you are unsure, reach out to dora(at)resilarium.de before you register.

Your instructor

Dr. Dora Dzvonyar is a somatic coach working with leaders and high performers, and a certified Holosomatic Breathwork® facilitator. She spent years as Chief of Staff at a climate-tech scale-up, so she knows from the inside what working under sustained pressure does to the people carrying this work.
