Driving meaningful change, especially social and environmental change, often involves navigating disagreement, challenging expectations, and making difficult choices. Yet saying no and expressing disagreement can feel uncomfortable, especially when we care deeply about the people, relationships, and causes involved.
In this highly interactive workshop, participants will explore how different forms of social pressure influence their decisions and communication. Through experiential exercises, they will practice expressing disagreement and holding their position without withdrawing, escalating conflict, or giving in.
This workshop emphasizes the interpersonal challenges that arise when trying to change established practices. It is particularly relevant to people working in corporate sustainability, organizational transformation, and climate initiatives.
