About Event

The Circadian Health Innovations in Medicine, Sleep & Epidemiology Symposium (CHIMES), hosted by the Aging Initiative, aims to bridge the gap between biological timing and clinical practice, driving innovation across novel sleep therapeutics, neurobiology, and wearable technology. Note: registration approval is required to attend!

We are pleased to announce that Ed Baker will be joining us as a keynote speaker. Ed is the Chief Product Officer of WHOOP. Previously, he served as the VP of Product and Growth at Uber and the Head of International Growth at Facebook. Sleep and circadian disruption represent some of the largest yet most underaddressed contributors to pathology today, including neurodegenerative decline, cardiometabolic disorders, and oncogenesis. For decades, clinical practice has relied on symptom management, sedatives, and cumbersome devices. Today, the convergence of large scale data analysis, wearable sensor technology, and targeted small molecules makes it possible to address root mechanisms directly. The CHIMES Symposium brings together students, researchers, clinicians, biopharma executives, founders, and investors to catalyze discussion and sparks collaborative innovation to tackle this global health frontier.
