​Demo Night is the Tech Exploration Lab's end-of-semester showcase of student-led innovation across emerging technologies. Walk the floor, meet student teams and get hands-on with what they've built this semester.

​Who you'll meet

• ​BuildFest 2026 teams showing how their weekend builds have grown since September

• ​Venture Pathway teams from Explore/Discover, Venture Build and Founder Lab, sharing products they've been testing with real users

• ​Four-Week Sprint builders showing what they learned and what changed

​Students will host demo tables and talk through what they built, what they learned from users, and how their ideas could shape the future of industry.

​This event is free and open to the public. It's a chance to meet student innovators, see real-world applications of emerging technology, and connect with UW's growing community of builders and industry partners. Light refreshments will be served.

​At about 7:00 PM, the Lab's Executive Director will give brief remarks and recognize winning student teams.

​About the Tech Exploration Lab:
Led by the Wisconsin School of Business in collaboration with the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, the Lab connects students from across campus with industry partners, researchers, and alumni to explore, build, and commercialize ideas at the intersection of emerging technologies and real-world challenges.
