Launched in 2022, the "G-1 Startup Grand Prix"—where “G” comes from "学生起業家"—is far more than a pitch contest: it’s a springboard for the boldest young visionaries in Asia. Each year, G-1 brings together student founders driven by a single mission—to pour their passion, creativity, and courage into ideas that can reshape industries, societies, and beyond.

From hands-on workshops and one-on-one mentoring to a climactic live pitch before top investors and media, G-1 fuels dreams with real resources and a fiercely supportive community.

G-1's core belief is that when tomorrow’s leaders are given trust, exposure, and a stage to shine, extraordinary mega-ventures emerge. We champion their hopes, amplify their voices, and together kindle a new era of world-changing innovation—starting here, starting now.

長尾俊介ヘンリー

1993年米国ボストン生まれ。慶應義塾大学理工学部情報工学科卒業。大学在学中から人材コンサルティングや新規事業支援に携わり、採用代行や人事、社長室業務、新規事業、IPO準備などを支援。2021年に株式会社meeting technologyを創業し、マッチングプラットフォーム事業を展開し、新たにアウトプレイスメント事業を現在展開中。ベンチャー三田会の幹事として起業家コミュニティ活動にも関わる。

Dr. Jowy Tani

Dr. Jowy Tani is a physician-ecosystem builder working at the intersection of digital health, AI, and clinical innovation. He serves as CEO of the TMU Biomed Accelerator and leads innovation initiatives at Wan Fang Hospital Innovation Center, supporting the translation of academic research into scalable healthcare solutions. A practicing neurologist with expertise in dementia and sleep medicine, Dr. Tani is actively involved in developing AI-enabled cognitive assessment and digital therapeutics. Trained in Biodesign and clinical innovation programs, he bridges clinicians, engineers, regulators, and investors to build sustainable healthtech ecosystems across Asia, with a focus on aging societies and real-world clinical impact.

Dr. Ya-Ting Young Yang

A distinguished scholar and seasoned entrepreneur, Dr. Ya-Ting Young Yang holds a PhD from National Taiwan University and a DrPH from Johns Hopkins University. With extensive hands-on entrepreneurial experience, she has earned international recognition for her impactful contributions to brand design, innovation, and the startup ecosystem.

Currently serving as the CEO of Taishang Resource International Group, Dr. Yang is also deeply committed to education. As an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Taipei Medical University, she bridges the gap between theory and practice, inspiring students and aspiring founders in the domains of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Her influence extends far beyond the classroom, where she serves as a dedicated mentor and guide to numerous early-stage startup teams.

Embracing her dual identity as a "professor-entrepreneur," Dr. Yang provides unique, cross-disciplinary insights to both academia and industry. She is passionate about igniting the catalyst for innovation, empowering the next generation of leaders to address real-world challenges and create meaningful, lasting change in the world.
