​Join us for an exclusive, industry-led hands-on workshop on version control and collaborative coding with GitHub designed to help students develop practical skills using GitHub, one of the most essential tools in modern software development.

Part 2: Collaboration & Branching - April 9th
Building on the fundamentals from Part 1, this session introduces collaborative development practices used in real-world teams. Participants will learn about branching, pull requests, resolving conflicts, and managing contributions across multiple collaborators. Completion of Part 1 (or equivalent knowledge) is required for this session.

    • macOS 10.15+

  • Required Accounts
    • GitHub account – https://github.com (students should create one if they do not already have it)

  • Required Software
    • Git
    Install from: https://git-scm.com/downloads
    (After installation, verify with: git --version)

    • Code Editor (VS Code recommended)
    Download from: https://code.visualstudio.com/

    • Web Browser
    Chrome, Firefox, or Edge
