Managing Risk at Market Scale: A Working Session on the Permanence Trust
On Monday, June 22, from 2–5 pm local time, the American Forest Foundation, Kita, and Climate Resilient Solutions will convene a select group of influential stakeholders across the carbon market to discuss how we can collectively take the next steps necessary to pursue the concept of a Permanence Trust.
This workshop (which will follow Chatham House Rule) will begin with a brief readout of the preliminary findings from the Permanence Trust’s feasibility study, along with an update on pilot development. The presentation will be followed by breakout discussions among attendees, including project developers, standards bodies, policymakers, buyers, and investors, to further deliberate on what is needed to turn this concept into a pilot and eventually a mechanism that can address non-permanence risk for all credit types across the entire market.
Space is limited. Register to request attendance. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions.
