Masterclass on Generative AI for Farmers | AI Impact Summit 2026

​This masterclass at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 explores how Generative AI can be designed to deliver reliable, safe, and context-aware advisory support for smallholder farmers.

​Led by Sanyam Singh, Senior ML Engineer, at Digital Green, the session draws on real-world learnings from FarmerChat, a GenAI-powered advisory assistant supporting farmers through localized guidance via text, voice, and images.

​The masterclass focuses on how Participatory Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) can align agricultural AI systems with on-ground realities. It examines common failure modes of GenAI in agricultural advisory and shares practical lessons on improving safety, actionability, and contextual relevance through structured human feedback.
