• ​What is AI Builders? A self-organizing nonprofit community of 11000+ AI nerds 🤓. We're building a democratic AI platform, to make our community completely co-owned and co-governed by you (yes, all attendees).

• ​Will it be recorded? Yes, some sessions are streamed live and recorded. By attending, you consent to being photographed and filmed. Let us know if you don't want to be on camera.

• ​I'm not technical. Can I come? Yes, but to actually enjoy the meetup we recommend understanding basic LLM concepts: Agents, Embeddings, RAG, MCPs, Inference, Structured Output, Finetuning, APIs, Reinforcement Learning. Not sure what those mean? Ask any chatbot — that's literally what they're for.

• ​Can I get a free ticket? Can I volunteer? Money should never be the reason not to join. If you need a sponsored ticket, or want to help out by arriving 1.5h early to set up, message Luc.

• ​Can I demo, give a talk, or just help out? Message Luc if you want to shine ✨ on stage and grow your network — community demos are 10 minutes, builder demos are 15-20 minutes.

• ​What time does the hackday start? The hackday starts at 10:00 on Thursday, 14 January.

• ​Do I need to form a team in advance? No! We'll have team formation at the beginning. You can also join solo.

• ​What should I bring? Bring your laptop, charger, and any APIs/tools you want to use.

• ​How do I submit my project? Submit via the hackday dashboard. Include a demo video and GitHub link.
