A half-day workshop on identifying and evaluating AI use cases in existing businesses.
Three companies each bring one open question from their business. You work on it in a group of five, with someone from the company available for questions throughout. Each group presents its result at the end.

The companies
previonics is building a platform for preventive medicine by acquiring established practices. This brings years of patient records into the company, spread across different practice systems and largely unstructured, with no shared key between locations. The question: which data-based products could be built from it, who would pay for them, and what is realistic when.
encoviva is a group of planning and consulting firms for building projects, covering the full building lifecycle including MEP planning, building physics and energy efficiency. The question: how information from construction plans can be captured and processed in a structured way, and where else along the value chain AI could be applied.
ENGENIOS is a group of engineering service providers for infrastructure projects in energy, transport and digital infrastructure, from consulting and planning through to project management and construction supervision.

Who this is for
Students, doctoral candidates and startup teams with a technical background who want to work on applying AI to businesses outside the tech sector. Prior industry knowledge is not required; each group receives a short context paper at the start. Applications as a team are possible.
