About Event

Green Furniture Concept started as an incubator company at Minc in 2011 with the ambition of transforming how furniture is produced and used. The company has furnished public spaces such as Emporia, King's Cross Station, and Hong Kong Airport, and in September they adopted the global brand Circalle - circular for all.

The journey raised a broader question for founder Johan Berhin: "As an entrepreneur, can I create an impact that truly makes a difference to the world?" Today he runs Plockhugget, aiming to transform how timber is produced, and consequently how forests are managed. The product is closer-to-nature timber, which can be positioned on the market alongside fossil-free steel and green concrete. The ambitions are high, but how do you actually make a transformation in this kind of classical business sector? And what it takes to make a shift in an industry that is heading in a different direction.

Join us at a seminar hosted by Johan Berhin to hear the honest conversation about entrepreneurship, setbacks, impact, and what it takes to shift an industry.

The event is part of Minc Impacts seminary series to capture the importance of impact and building for the future where impact means business.
