Visit the MedTech Innovation Center (MIC), Kobe University
Join us for a guided visit to the MedTech Innovation Center (MIC) at Kobe University, the home of the Mirai Tech City residency labs.
The MIC is part of Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine. It is led by Prof. Takahiro Yasuda, PhD MSc, Specially Appointed Professor in the Department of Medical Device Engineering and Director of the MIC. The centre helps take medical technology from research into real products, working with clinicians, engineers and companies.
The MIC sits inside the Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster (KBIC) on Port Island. KBIC is Japan's Biomedical National Strategic Special Zone, and its hospitals, research institutes, clinics and CROs make it the most comprehensive biomedical ecosystem in the country.
