📚 Welcome to THE READING CORNER!
➜ This is a reading club where you bring your own book (fiction, non-fiction, any genre really, no judgment!) and enjoy some silent reading time together.
➜ We’re an English-speaking community, but feel free to read in any language.
➜ Feel free to come alone; you’ll leave with friends anyway! ;)
📍 We meet on Sunday mornings in various cosy cafés, parks, and cultural venues across Brussels (location confirmed each week) ☕️
🔅 Program:
11:00–11:30 - Chatting, ordering drinks, and grabbing something sweet
11:30–12:30 - Reading
From 12:30 onwards - Optional socialising if you feel like staying a bit longer
If you would like to join a session, click “Going”. If the event is full, add yourself to the waitlist!
If you can no longer attend, please remove yourself from the participant list as soon as possible to give someone on the waitlist a chance to join. :)
🔅 Community Guidelines:
We aim to create a safe and inclusive space for everyone. Therefore, hostile behaviour, inappropriate communication, and discriminatory remarks will not be tolerated. If an issue arises, please reach out to the admins, who will follow up.
Let's not forget that the goal is to relax together in a calm and positive environment, so everyone is free to come and go whenever they prefer, no pressure! ☺️
