LNU AIS x Softwerk

​LNU AI Society is excited to announce a new collaboration with Softwerk for an upcoming OCR challenge. Join us on February 19th to dive into the latest models for advanced Optical Character Recognition and tackle a unique problem procured directly from journalists. The evening kicks off at 17:00 with a check-in and introduction, followed by pizza and group brainstorming sessions to get the ideas flowing. We will wrap up the night with a panel workshop to answer all your questions about the assignment.

​This event marks the official start of a two-week competition phase where you can submit your solution for a chance to win exclusive prizes. Registration is officially open now and will remain active until February 15th. Since submissions aren't due until the end of the two-week window, the event night is all about networking, learning, and prepping your strategy before getting started on the challenge.
