1 Million Cups Durham: RDCW

This Wednesday, 1MC Durham is part of Raleigh-Durham Climate Week (RDCW), a free, week-long celebration (Nov 2–6) of the climate tech, agtech, and sustainability work happening across the Triangle, organized by Carolina Climate, Raleigh-Durham Startup Co., and the Climate Week Network. RDCW exists to connect the Triangle's climate founders, funders, and builders, people working across agriculture, biotech, energy, and advanced manufacturing, who don't always get the chance to be in the same room. This week, 1MC Durham is lending its Wednesday-morning platform to that mission.

This week's presenter: Kwame Asare, Founder of Blossoms Village

Kwame founded Blossoms Village, an exotic honey brand rooted in beekeeping, education, and African culture. He sources honey from Ghana, including a signature cashew nut variety, while building hands-on bee education programs for Durham youth that connect environmental science, agriculture, and entrepreneurship. His work sits right at the intersection RDCW is built around: sustainability, agriculture, and community impact, making it a natural fit for both 1MC Durham and climate week programming.
