ML from Scratch
Interested in machine learning with no place to start?
This is a free pilot run of machine learning essentials course we'll be kicking off in January at Frontier Tower. This course was born out of a study group for anyone analytic / technical with zero ML knowledge.
Who should attend? Anyone with basic understanding of statistics, functions, and differential equations. Think non-software engineers. If this isn't you, come on anyway, get thrown into the deep end, and use this as contextual knowledge! If you can code well and know a lot about ML, you're still welcome but you may be asked to teach parts of the course ;)
What we'll cover? A true conceptual intro to machine learning and supervised learning! This course will feel more academic than an average course you run into at Frontier Tower.
Who is hosting? Hristina has a PhD in mechanical engineering and product experience in medical technologies. She originally started a Mission-based co-learning meetup called "ML from Scratch" from which this course series was born. In the new year, we will cover the following 5 course sequence, 2 hrs each, designed to be independent of each other:

Reinforcement Learning
Generative AI
