Colleagues Unite | Loss of a Colleague or Leader
Fifth session in the Colleagues Unite series
⚠️ Trigger Warning
This session includes discussion of death, grief, loss, and emotional distress. Please only take part in a way that feels safe and supportive for you.
Colleagues Unite is back.
This is our global series of honest, supportive conversations for PAs and EAs, created to give space to the moments that shape us far beyond our job titles.
This session will focus on navigating the loss of a boss, colleague, or close professional relationship.
Speakers TBC - this session will feature assistants who will share their lived experiences of coping with grief while continuing to work, support teams, and manage professional responsibilities.
When someone we work closely with passes away, the impact can be profound. Assistants may find themselves balancing their own grief while supporting others, managing practical arrangements, and adjusting to significant change within their organisation.
Together, we’ll create space to talk openly about workplace grief, remembrance, transition, and the importance of compassion, both for others and for ourselves.
Through shared experiences and supportive conversation, this session aims to help assistants feel understood, supported, and less alone during difficult moments.
