Small Business, Meet AI
Bring one real challenge from your business. Leave with a way through it, and a setup you can keep using on Monday.
Small Business, Meet AI is a three-hour, in-person workshop in Melbourne for solo operators and small business owners who have heard plenty about AI and still haven’t had the head space to make it useful.
No lecture. Two of us stay in the room the whole time.
This is for you if you run the business yourself (or nearly), you can send an email and use a browser, and you have one specific thing you want to move. Client onboarding, a month of captions, overdue website copy, a pile of customer emails, a policy you’ve been avoiding...
Skip this workshop if you want a strategy deck, a tour of models, or a room of developers. We're prioritising your actual business challenges.
In the room you will:
run something real against your own business early, so you see it work on your stuff first
learn one prompt pattern in plain English, then use it on the challenge you brought
spend a long stretch building that thing, with help when you get stuck
see how to connect it to email, files and notes, so it isn’t a one-afternoon trick
You leave with your AI setup sorted for the way you actually work, one real challenge worked through, a prompt-and-resources cheat sheet, and a clearer sense of what to try next week.
“This workshop took me from ‘Claude is a bit daunting and intimidating’ to ‘Claude is my trusty assistant that will even tidy my chaotic desktop without judging me.’” — Jules, Creative Director, after the first workshop we ran
Your workshop hosts -
Zoe is your friendly AI coach and product designer who also runs a small creative business (Snuggle Studio Photography) alongside Freshwater Futures work. She translates the technical stuff into what it means for your Tuesday.
Ben founded Freshwater Futures with ultimate AI enthusiasm and spends the week helping larger organisations adopt AI. He brings the useful bits down to the size of your business.
Two humans, zero jargon.
Saturday 5 September, 2pm to 5pm at Stone & Chalk, 121 King Street, Melbourne.
Arrive from 1.45pm so we can start on time. Bring your laptop, a charger, and one real challenge. We cap the room at twenty, because two of us cannot get round a bigger group properly. Tickets are $159.
We’ll email you everything you need before the day. If plans change, you can send someone else in your place.
